How do you view a directory of a lll websites files?

Hi,
Me and my friend run a game developing company, unfortunately a few years ago he moved to L.A and we used to keep our game project files on his website… Ive forgotten the name of the one I’m looking for (We use to call them crazy things :D) but I remember the place we keep them… For example: http://www.examplewebsite/projectfiles/–NAMEOFPROJECTFILEHERE– But unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the project file so do you guys know how to view a directory of the files that are on that page… We never encrypted them or anything by the way,
It is a wordpress.com site…

A WordPress.COM site does not allow that. A WordPress.ORG one does. Which is it?

Is there any possible way to view the uploaded files or any easier way then just guessing the project names? Its gonna be impossible they’re called stuff like blabbyjabby1837.zip and stuff…

The other thing is if you are or were uploading .ZIP files, you are not hosted here at wordpress.com. We are very limited on what file types we can upload, and zips are not allowed here.

I suspect the site you are talking about is a self-hosted wordpress installation at a third-party host such as godaddy, bluehost, etc.

Just realized its wordpress.org

@raincoaster I know its not realetdd but who do you do it in wordpress.org

How do you view the “wp-content” directory in wordpress.org I know the name of the directory like “http://www.exampledomain.com/wp-content/aa/filename.zip

Then you have a WordPress.ORG install which is not hosted on WordPress.COM and you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG.

We are Volunteers ie. your fellow bloggers and we do not have backend access to blogs; only Staff have backend access to blogs. If you want our help they yopu must provide an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog in question.

If it’s not a free hosted WordPress.com blog then you have reached a dead end. For any blog hosted by any web host other than WordPress.com you must post to http://wordpress.org for support. If you do not have an account there click the link I just provided and register a WordPress.org username account so you can post to the correct support forum.
