How do you view sites?

links all over wordpress are broken. I have reported this before and no one wrote back to me to address this and the other questions I posed. My question was simple: how do you do a search on your site? Is “Topics” the only way to do this? Because that does not work usually. Why don’t you just have a search, or help button on your pages? I only see a help button on dashboard.

Navigating this site is pretty much impossible, and not user friendly. I have no idea how to browse posts on topic I am interested in. It is too slow and pedantic, and there is only one place you can do so. There is no efficiency or clarity to this site at all. I don’t know how all these people with no savvy (I personally can usually figure all new sites out, with their bells and whistles, etc,) are able to get around at all. And I have to wonder if anyone is seeing anything when I notice that more than three quarters of sites I attempt to view are BROKEN and the error message says the site cannot display the content.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi whimsyleigh. I may be wrong, but I think you’re asking how to make your own site more clear for your readers to navigate? Here are a few suggestions:

Edit your menu to include pages or categories
Add widgets to your sidebars (like Search, or Recent Posts – whatever you like!)

Oh, maybe I am wrong. Are you wondering where to look for other wordpress.com blogs to read? And finding broken links, maybe to old, deleted sites?

Here are some suggestions to find new content:
    Recommended Blogs
Blogs I Follow (this will show blog updates once you’ve followed some sites)
    Freshly Pressed – new content!
    Browse by Topic

These are all available on the right-hand sidebar when you’re logged into your account, but not on your own blog dashboard page.
