How does a newbie delete part of a theme?
-
The soothing colours in Beccary’s theme, Thirteen, are exactly what I’m looking for. But the flowers and the line of curlicues for separating posts don’t fit my subject at all.
What is the fastest way to eliminate these, please? . . . I mean, for someone minimally technical?
I found the style sheet for Thirteen. But I’m not sure which gif’s to delete and how to go about doing this.
Would be grateful for any help and advice.

You can always try deleting any .gif in your theme and click ‘preview’ on your css editor to see how it looks like. It’s harmless. Once you’re happy with the looks on the preview, save the changes made.
