How does multiple admins/authors work?

I have built the blog and set up my own public profile and gravatar and written the introduction post. I now want to had it over to another staff member to be the main contributor from now on, but I still want to access/manage the dashboard and reporting, and occasionally contribute myself.
I sent the user an invitation to be an administrator but he was unable to login, I assumed because he didn’t have an account. I thought he would be able to access the blog and post once he was set up, so I created him an account with a dummy blog.
How does he now post to our corporate blog, rather than the dummy one I set up for him?
I have searched everywhere in the forum and support, but I can’t find a current post explaining how to do this. Please help!!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Now that he has a WordPress account, did he try the first invitation again and it didn’t work? Did you try sending another invitation?
