how does one acquire a “more” button?

    Hey all,

I’m very new to wordpress.com, and there is one blog feature I’m curious to learn how to achieve. On wordpress, and countless other blogs, I see the title of a blog, a brief excerpt, and then a “more” button, which then shows the rest of the given entry.

My posts don’t have these, is it because I’m new and only have two posts so far? Also, is there a way to choose what part of the blog is shown before the “more” button appears?

Sorry if this is confusing, if anyone knows what I’m talking about do tell!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    This should help:

Pay very careful attention to the section about “formatting issues.”

Oh please don’t worry. When ever you begin a new endeavor there is so much to learn! New words, new techniques, new strategies…

    And you are most welcome.

If you have more questions, the support documents are getting better all the time, and there are many nice volunteers here who will help with questions…

    best to you…
