How does one change the domain name of a current blog?

  I spelled my web address wrong. I me ants for it to say sandcastles.wordpress.com. Please help!

  I’m so sorry, but I did a search and found that the the site: sandcastles.wordpress.com has already been taken.

  I found that http://thesandcastlesblog.wordpress.com wasn’t taken – you can change it to that if you want.

  I found that http://thesandcastles.wordpress.com and http://sandcastlesblog.wordpress.com were both taken.

  You can change your site name, but you will have to change it to one that has not been used before. Please follow the steps here:

  Also, the final step in changing your site address allows you to keep or discard the old address. If you are changing your site address so that you can use the address for a new site, please be sure to keep the old address.

  You may prefer to change the address for your site by registering a custom domain name. This takes “wordpress” out of the site address. You can register a custom domain name for your site here:
