How does one contact someone directly at WordPress for help?

Need some help, WordPress!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have reached the WordPress.com peer support forum. Here Volunteers provide support and tag threads they cannot assist with for Staff assistance. Please clearly state exactly what you need help with and we will provide it.

Agreed! This is kind of ridiculous that you can’t talk to someone directly…
Anyway, I’m trying to figure out how to change the URL of my blog? First off, I wish it could be madformusic.wordpress.com, but it seems someone took that yet hasn’t done anything with it. Is there a way to contact that person to make them delete the blog so I can use it?
My next question is, I’d like to buy an actual domain but it suggests I should buy madformusicindc.com which I don’t want. I rather have, madformusik.com, so I’m trying to figure out how to buy that domain through wordpress?
Any help with this would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I also wish we had a 1800 number that we could call and just get a person to talk to.
You can speak to people here.
Simply type what you have to say knowing
(1) there are no zombies here – we are all human beings
(2) some of us Volunteers have been here answering questions for years longer than Staff have even been on Staff
(3) acting like you have nomophobia (cell phone addiction ie. fear of being without mobile use) suggests you may need help of another kind. -
I should also mention, that it doesn’t necessarily have to be those exact changes to the domain – rather they are just ideas and what I need to know exactly, is how to change the domain URL on an existing blog.
Thanks!

There is no expiration date on blogs unused or otherwise. If you can make contact on your own with the owner of an unused blog then there is a means of a consenting blog owner to transfer the blog to another username account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account In the case that there is no contact information Staff will not breach the privacy policy and provide you with an email address.
if you are not successful, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Okay so, right now if I wanted to change madformusicindc.wordpress.com, to a different wordpress name so all of my content is still there, how do I do that?
I tried following the directions given on the wordpress site – go to settings/change the URL name, but I wasn’t provided that specific option when clicking on settings.

The content stays exactly where it is now. All that changes is the URL. You make the domain mapping purchase and follow the instructions I linked to above. Domains » Register a New Domain http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/
Note: After you make the domain mapping purchase and do the set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. -
That seems easy enough to do, I appreciate all of your incredibly, detailed help! Thank you so much!

Seriously, I really SHOULD start that phone support service, although nobody will want to pay the deposit. It has to be high, to weed out penguins etc.
