How Does One Hide The Title Of A Page From The Top Of The Page?

    Instead of using the front page layout in the Motif theme, I want to use the grid layout for my front page. How do I make it so that the title of the page I am using as my front page is hidden? I would like my featured image to be the only introduction to my website.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I took a peek at your (delicious-looking) site. It appears as if you’ve figured out how to remove the header text on your own. Nicely done. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Thanks!

    Hey there Robyn! Thank you for taking a look at my site! I named my page “..” so that it would be less noticeable at the top, but it’s definitely still there. Do you know how I can remove that?

    Hello again. Ah! Very clever :)

    To hide that title permanently without using the “..” fix, you would have to upgrade to Custom Design:

    en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

    To change certain elements of the designer’s theme, you need to access the CSS code for your site.

    If you want to preview what your site will look like with a coding fix, click on Appearance → Customize in your Dashboard. Then in the right-hand menu, click Custom Design. You will see a “Try Now” button appear. Click that.

    Now scroll to the very bottom of the menu and click CSS. Paste the following into the CSS revisions box below all the brown text:

    .frontpage .entry-title {
    display: none;
    }

    When you paste that, you’ll see the “..” disappear. You cannot save any changes if you haven’t made the upgrade, but you can play around with the features. You’re able to choose various fonts and colors, as well.

    Let me know if you need further help with this! Thanks much.
