How does one import subscribers FROM a self-hosted WP blog?
-
I’ve scoured the help section, so I don’t think I missed a guide or anything. I’m moving back to wordpress.com, I need to port my subscribers. How do I do this? All I can seem to find is guides for the opposite, which is strange. You’d think WP.com would want people to have the opportunity to return in their entirety.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@supernovia I’ll be able to do that late this evening, at around 8pm EST. I was working on a project with my partner last night and didn’t see the update last night.
-
OK. You won’t really need the followers migrated til you make a new post, in most cases. Just let us know when the new site is ready and we’ll migrate them over for you. Or if you’d rather do it on a weekday (faster response times from us) that’s fine too. Cheers!

I made a new post to the WP.com blog already, hehe. I had it penned into my calendar, I’m game now if you are! <3
Once my subbies are moved over all I have left to do is buy premium, map the URL and give notice that I want to end the website hosting but keep the domain with them, so I’m excited! Just lemme know what to do! Do you like email me or something? I know you’re legit cuz you have the little staff tag, so that makes me feel better. :) -
@bentobuff you’re all set — I had to step away for a bit, but your followers are moved over now (or will be as soon as our script finishes.) And we’ve merged your stats as well.
Cheers!

@bentobuff actually while your stats & followers are moved over, I noticed some of your images are not. I’m going to get some help fixing that for you, too, but please be sure to leave thebentobuff.com up until then. I’ll update you here.

Ah, so all the stuff from thebentobuff.com will be merged into thebentobuff.wordpress.com prepping me to upgrade thebentobuff.wordpress.com?
I just want to be absolutely certain it didn’t happen with another blog like gracemccarter.wordpress.com or something, I’m just a paranoid gal.
^////^ -
@bentobuff yeah, when you upgrade you can add the domain. It’ll all work well.
But wait until we’ve imported any missing images (if you go to your media area you’ll see some are missing.) I’m going to need a dev’s help with that, so it may take a business day or so, but I’ll update you as soon as it’s done.

@supernovia Eeek! Nice catch! Thanks for getting on that! I was planning to wait until everything was ready to go and mapped before I got dumped the other host, so it’s all good. Just let me know!
I’m surprised you didn’t need me to do anything on the back end. :0

Ah! My apologies, I thought I’d updated you here but apparently I did not.
Yes, everything is imported. Thanks for getting in touch!

It’s cool! I’ll sign up for premium and map the URL within the week. My blog is back to taking off, hehe. Platform really is half of it, TBH.
Thanks for all your help! <3
