How does one make sure that when publishing to one WP blog…

  that notifications aren’t being sent to all subscribers.
  Ex. I’ve three blogs, and one I do not want to share publicly, but don’t want it password protected or “private.”

  Don’t’ enable the Follow Blog widget on that blog.
  Don’t enable the ability to follow comments on posts on the Discussion Settings page of that blog.
  Issue solved.

  Thank you! But what if I want a “certain” audience? My main blog is general, the secondary is basically a photo blog and the third is one where I write stuff that I’d never talk about. :-)

  then open a second account with a name that is not related to your real name or any name or nickname you use – then transfer the blog to the new account –
