How does the translation works ?

Some frinds and I are translating WP in our language (occitan) but we have a few questions :
• when they are 2 choices or more for 1 entry, how can we do to choose ? Who does it, and when ?
• when is the translation aviaible for users ?

What is the link to your blog. The site linked to your user name isn’t a wordpress.com hosted blog. I’m suspecting that you’re self hosted. If so, you’ll need to head over to http://wordpress.org/support for help.

Thank you for this answer ! I’m just translating for the moment, not using a hosted blog. (I have one online, but i’ll keep it in french)
I just would like to know, as the translator I am, when our collective work will be avaible, and how I can do to choose, in the page of translation, between several choices ? ;)
