How domain name shows

Suppose, I connected a domain that I purchased from somewhere else to WordPress.com. For example, abcd.com.
When somebody enters abcd.com in the address bar and presses Enter, will he or she be connected to a page with ‘abcd.com’ shown in the address bar, or they will be redirected to the same page, but something different will be shown in the address bar?The site I need help with is lapazor.wordpress.com.

Basically, you’ll be mapping a domain to your WordPress.com site. You can do that once you’ve upgraded your site to a paid plan. Once the domain starts pointing to your WordPress.com site (which happens after it’s nameservers are pointed to us), you will have the option to make the domain primary.
A primary domain is a domain that shows up when you visit the site. Right now, it’s your site’s WordPress.com address. After mapping a domain, you can make that domain primary so that the site shows the domain that you’ve mapped instead of the WordPress.com address.
