How ensuring the text characters have the same size?

    I have purchased Premium Theme and “Custom Design” tools. I bought the “Custom Design” in order to display characters in a bigger size. However my Blog is suffering of some kind of “characters instability”: in the same article, different browsers (i.e. Chrome and Safari) displays different characters size, giving to the blog a not nice aspect. Could you please suggest me how resolving this issue? Thanks a lot. (example: http://unpoliticalblog.com/2014/03/23/due-ipotesi-pesanti-sul-volo-mh370-della-malaysia-airlines/).

    Hi Jonathan,

    After looking into post you provided, I found that the change in font size is not due to the browser, but the actual size you used in the post. They are different sizes.

    The first few paragraphs are 15px, but after “Theory of Hijack” it is 16.52 px. You can change this by going into your Text Editor and changing the font sizes. You will see tags like this:

    <span style="font-size: 16.52px; line-height: 1.5em;">

    Please remove those. Just wondering, are you copying and pasting from Google Docs or Microsoft Word? Please note that these are fine word processors for producing documents to be shared or printed, but as a web publishing tool it is a little less than ideal and produces very messy HTML.Here’s a guide on using these types of word processors cleanly on WordPress.com:

    Microsoft Word

    Just a note as well, I found that the font sizes were the same on Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

    Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

    Hi Grace,
    Yes indeed sometimes I am copying/paste from Word or other docs. I will check now the Text Editor and following your tips.
    Thank you very much.
