How far to go with CSS

    I am looking to build a simple to Administer yet unique design blog for a journalist.

    How far can I change a predefined theme with the CSS option?
    How far can I use CSS to build elements into the blog?

    I will require elements such as

    download article icon
    Print Article
    register as a user

    Where can I get paid services to outsource design?

    hm. You could make icons galore and use them with css.
    The register as user is a diffrent matter – that would need forms, and that is not happening here at wordpress.com.
    I don’t think you can make a print-css here either, as that would require two css stylesheets.

    ….and, thinking about it, I don’t think there is a download article function here either.. so my guess would be you could make as many icons as you like, but I doubt about the functions you want.

    There is a print stylesheet floating around since I’ve added it to my CSS. It’s just to format the blog when someone prints the page from the browser print function.
