How get “More link” to load page from top ?

  Hi,

  I am using the sandbox 1.61 theme and when I use the More-tag to insert a break, people who follow the more-link from the posts listing will get thrown directly into the text on the next page. I.e. the page is not loading from the top. I am trying to find a setting to fix this but I can’t find it.

  How can I fix this so that following a more-link displays the new page from the top.?

  No, I don’t think it is a CSS-question. It is more of a functionality question I presume, but I could be wrong.

  My beef is what happens when you follow a link, not the way it is presented. When you follow a more-link you and up in the middle of the page thats loads, possible an anchor tag is used for this. This effectively cuts away the header and all the navigation at the top and is not really cool at all.

  Thanks for posting the link to the blog in question. I don’t have the answer to your question. What I’m doing is securing full details for the forum volunteer(s) who will answer it.

  I do not know what the “normal” functionality is in this theme. I do know we cannot edit our underlying templates and themes at wordpress.com as they are shared http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/

  Thanks for replying a second time. I do realize you said this originally but sometimes we get people who confuse the two. Now that we have posted all the details there will be more for the volunteer who does help with CSS for header navigation to work with. We have only a couple of volunteers who infrequently help with CSS, thus, you must patiently wait for them to find this thread.
