How I do hide the author of a post?

    I’m trying to create a blog for my shule.
    All the posts I make have my personal account name next to it.
    I would prefer there to be no visible author.
    How do I hide the author of a post?

    The easiest way would be to set up a new account that does not contain your personal details and blog using this account – the details would still appear but you need not make yourself personably identifiable.

    You can stop the author link from appearing in the meta section completely using CSS if you have the paid custom design upgrade (it’s included in the premium plan). You can try out the code below which will do what you want – previewing is free but if you want to keep it you’ll need to upgrade.

    .entry-meta .author  {
  display:none;
}

    And lastly you could always switch themes to one that does not show the author name by default.

    I don’t think WordPress has a listing of themes which do not show a post author name, nickname, or byline. However, others have created such lists. Try the following, published in July 2014:
