How i get left typeset orientation in Theme "Structure"

  In the example of the Theme “Structure” is a clear left orientation of the posts without a widget between the left border of the screen and the post text. http://moonshineartproject.wordpress.com/press/
  And the main menue is only in the header.
  But when i will use the theme i get a widget or menue between the left border and my post.
  Example: http://timesigns.wordpress.com/category/photos/
  I have cleared all widgets but this does not help.
  So what is the trick to disable this function?

  But if you go to the homepage which displays the posts, you will see a showcased post with a featured image.
