How I get my email notifications sent to my new email address?

How do I get my email notifications sent to my new email address? I changed the address in my profile several days ago, but everything is still going to the old address. I tried using the “manage my subscriptions” link at the bottom of an email, but this doesn’t offer an option of maintaining the same subscriptions but just changing the address. It actually looks as though subscription is irrevocably linked to email address and the only way to have things go to a new address is to resubscribe to each item individually – which, quite frankly, I’m just not sufficiently interested to bother doing. There must surely be an easier way?
The correct email address is showing up in my profile page but even on this page, two boxes down, it was the old one that autofilled – I had to change it manually.

Can you try changing the email address in your Users -> Personal Settings page, as well?

Thanks evarlese, I’ve given it a try, so now I’ll just wait to see what happens! I never would have found it if you hadn’t told me it was there, though – it’s well hidden and that page kept trying to redirect me to other pages!

Hm, that’s odd. I wonder if that address is just eating them (tossing them out).
Do you have another email address that you could try?

Still nothing. Like me, he got the change of address email and notification of your comment here, but nothing since – no blog updates, no messages about new skins. Changing the email just seems to have unsubscribed me from everything, rather than changing the subscription address.

The WordPress.com News and one of the blogs I follow are still listed there, the other blog is not. When I clicked on “Edit List”, I found that the email notification instructions for the two items still present had been switched from “instant” to “never”.
I’m sorry, but it should be possible to change an email address without subscriptions either disappearing or having the email frequency changed automatically. And I’ve been trying for months to turn off email notifications from WordPress.com News, but it’s impossible to find if you don’t know exactly where to look. These are simple, basic things that should be one-click solutions, easily found from a link in said email notifications.

Can you switch notifications for WordPress.com News to Never from that same page?

Yes, I left the News on Never. Now to reenter my own email address and see if I either lose the last blog or get everything reset to Never again!
