The WordPress.com site linked to your account is displaying the Twenty Fifteen theme. What theme are you trying to activate? Note that changing themes on a new site often leaves a placeholder image from a previous theme still showing. It’s only when you’ve got rid of the placeholder image and posted a reasonable amount of your own content that you can appreciate the different layouts of different themes.

  • Hi there,

It looks like you switched from Twentyfifteen to Independent Publisher, and then you switched back to Twentyfifteen. That’s why you still see that theme on your site.

Only one theme can be active on a WordPress.com site at a time, and there is no way that a previous theme can still be active after you activated a new one. If it still shows the old theme after activating a new one, please try clearing your browser cache.
