How import a new theme?

Hi! I have a very trivial question, I’ve just published a blog and I’d like to upload a new theme, but in my theme section I can only select or buy a theme.
I’ve bought a domain using wordpress, upgrading my site from .wordpress.com to .org. Must I pass to a premium account?Thank you in advance,

That capability exists only on WordPress.ORG software installs.
You cannot upload any third party themes into a WordPress.COM hosted blog so be clear on that. The only themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software are the free and premium themes that are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/
There is no FTP access to WordPress.COM blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins or third party themes.

If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.ORG install.
WordPress.ORG offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run advertising, and edit the database, etc. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Probably, I shouldn’t have bought a domain with wordpress… Nevermind, I’ll try to find a good theme a to personalize it as much as possible! -
