    Hey Shane,
    I took a quick look and my first thoughts were that I liked the big photo, after one refresh it went wonky so check the image size and make sure it matches the recommended dimensions!
    Second I like a few photos but not too many, and mix you story in with the images to keep my attention.
    Third you theme seems kind of blocky, try playing around with different ones in the dashboard.
    Fourth get a title at the top and a tagline.
    Fifth get the follow and subscribe buttons in your sidebar.
    and last get an about me page or add the widget to the sidebar along with a contact me page.
    Bonus – get your gravatar profile filled out completely and visit other blogs!

    Shane, I was thinking how silly it is not to have my suggestions public, that’s the purpose to put it out for discussion. So I’ll go back, hope I find the forum. Anyway I’m no expert, only about 100 posts. I try to keep my post to 500 words or less, (occasionally they are more) and strive to be well written. So that’s something you may want to think about, your blog might be more about the pics. Was your post a first draft or edited?You can easily shorten the post by eliminating unnecessary words and the I’s. It was enjoyable but I lost interest. Claudia
