How long after the payment is due do I have?

    Until the blog is deleted? I almost have the money together but need another few weeks, so how long do I have before you pull the plug? Payment is due today.

    We are sent multiple warnings and renewal notices of every impending expiration and we are expected to act before they expire.

    Your blog will not be deleted for failure to renew an upgrade – the upgrades just stop working – if domain mapping lapses your blog is still there but the mapped domain name will not work

    HOWEVER – DON’T mess up the domain registration – there is a very small window after the renewal date before a penalty is imposed by the Registrar (not WordPress.COM) – that is $ 80.–

    So at a minimum you need to renew the domain registration on a timely basis $ 5.–

    I would personally not risk any lapse on the domain registration – I would not count on any window
