How long before inactives get deleted?

  Hi all,

  I’m wondering how long before inactive sites/subdomains/users get removed from the WP system? I ask because I am interested in getting this subdomain: http://joelkinzel.wordpress.com/

  Clearly the site has never been used, but it has been active for some time (I’ve been checking pretty regularly). It is possible that I may have even signed up/registered for it long ago and forgot (since the domain is my first/last name).

  So my question: Is there anyway or process by which I can see if it was actually me that registered it long ago? And secondarily, if it was not me, is there any process by which I might be able to claim that particular site?

  Any help is much appreciated.

  Is there anyway or process by which I can see if it was actually me that registered it long ago?

  Log completely out of WordPress then fill out this form

  I fear that I may have signed up with an e-mail address I no longer have access to (such as a school account).

  I’ve filled out those forms and hopefully can work something out with the WP folks.
