How long does canceling Domain Mapping take? & GoDaddy issues…

    Okay, so I got a domain name through godaddy.com along with webhosting through them as well (ericadrayton.net), I also mapped my domain name not realizing this is the reason why I was unable to get wordpress.org to work how I wanted. I just canceled the mapping feature on my wordpress.com site but whenever I try to access the wp-admin for my URL it is still mapping to my free worpress.com account! Should I wait a few hours before trying it?

    I hope I figured out that was the problem. Also, I did change the NameServers on my godaddy webhosting section for the URL ericadrayton.net so that shouldn’t be an issue at this point either right? So I’m hoping the only problem is I’m expecting it to take effect too quickly?

    You are correct – your Godaddy site loads fine for me – it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet. You will be the last one to see the changes.
