How long does it take for a domain change to take place

  I own a domain through wordpress that I am going to change so it points to my server on another host. How long does it take once I make the appropriate changes for it to redirect to my new server?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  24 to 72 hours for the changes to migrate to the far corners of the internet and things to completely calm down. Changes usually start in a few hours, for some reason (local cache issues, your ISP caching etc. you will probably be the last person to see the changes)
