How long does it take for change to take effect- Private to Public?

  blog not changing from private to public in spite of setting the reader settings to public. How long does it take for the settings to take effect?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s instantaneous.

  Note that search engines and social sites will have your blog listed as Private and will NOT instantly index it. It can take weeks or months, longer than if it had never been set to private and was just a new blog.
