How long does it take for no ads to become live after purchase ?

Just purchased no ads and wondered how long it takes to kick in and will it remove ads from previous blogs posted or only from now on on blogs I post?

The effect should be immediate – no ads should be seen on your blog as long as the upgrade is active.
