How long does it take to change an admin email?

  I’m the admin user on a blog and need to change the admin user’s email as I an no longer responsible for the blog. I submitted a request 5 months ago and the email has still not changed. There is a message on my account page saying “There is a pending change of your email” but I wondered if there’s any way I can speed the process along? I can’t find a direct wordpress contact email anywhere on this site…

  I.m pretty sure that it should be quicker than 5 months, so I’ll flag this for staff attention. Please be patient as it could take a while for them to reach this thread

  Hi @admin,

  In order to complete the email address change on your blog, you (or the new user) will need to click on the confirmation link in the email sent to the new email address. That link expires after 24-48 hours so you will need to resend it following the instructions here:

  Change Your Email Address

  Please let me know if you have any trouble verifying the new email address!
