How long does it take to get a response if I paid for an upgraded account?

I paid for an upgraded account because it claimed to have 24-hour email support. I’ve waited almost a whole day for an answer. How long should I expect to typically wait? I’m not sure I want to be paying for this service if it takes a very long time.
