How long does it take to get the refund?

    Hello;

    We have cancelled the account.

    Was wondering how many days it takes until we get the refund?

    Hi,

    If you’ve cancelled your subscription and claimed a refund:

    You will be refunded to the same payment method you used for your purchase. After processing, refunds usually take about five to ten business days to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it could take up to 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to show up. International refunds can take even longer to reach you. Your financial institution is going to be able to tell you when to expect the refund and how it will be listed on your statement.

    I read that, it wasn’t clear that’s why I asked the forum.

    What does it mean 1-2 billing cycles (or even longer)?

    We made the payment for this account on 02 Aug.

    Can you please give me rough dates to expect this?

    Hi @behnampmdg3,

    For example, a billing cycle may start on the 1st day of the month and end on the 30th day of the month. Or, it may go from the 15th of one month to the 15th of the next. Billing cycles are varying lengths, ranging from 20 to 45 days, depending on the credit card and the issue: https://www.thebalance.com/billing-cycle-960690

    It’s best to contact your financial institution – they will be able to tell you when to expect the refund.

    I am not sure how my bank would know when WordPress processes the refund.

    Hi there,

    I can see we issued the refund on August 3rd. You can see a receipt for the refund here:

    Refunds usually take about 10 business days to appear in your account, but it depends on the processing times at your bank. It can also take longer if you are with a non-US bank. Please follow up with your bank directly on this. You can provide them the transaction ID that appears in the refund receipt as a reference.
