How long does support take to respond to account recovery?

I set up a WordPress account today, but used an email address I couldn’t access, and I somehow managed to both change the address to one I can access, but also delete at the same time!
I have emailed back to the deleted email to say it was a mistake, but also completed a form with my transaction ID etc to recover it.
Can someone let me know how long on average it takes for a response? I’m hoping not too long?

Thanks – I know it’s the weekend, was just wondering if it’s 24/48 hours or 5-7 days etc, couldn’t find anything online

Is anyone able to advise here? Is there a ticket queue system (so my request doesn’t get lost in the weekend traffic)?

Your thread is tagged with “Modlook” so staff will definitely see it when they are back at work. But if you have also emailed someone with your transaction ID that might be the best place to be replied to. It helps not to duplicate things and confuse the issue.

Hi @rdg9336cede37b3 there is usually a delay over the weekend, as mentioned above, so it can take a bit of time for us to catch up on Monday. I can confirm I see your ticket in our system and we will respond there as soon as we are able.
