how long for support?

Sorry to get impatient, but this is causing some issues for me. How long does it usually take to get a reply to a support question? You’ve taken my money for the domain option, but two days later my account hasn’t registered those credits yet and I haven’t received an answer to my feedback asking why. I’d like my money back if you can’t address the problem soon – thanks.

well, you can email support@wordpress.com, but it just goes to the same place.
otherwise, paypal can get you your money back. -
Yeah, thanks, I’ll do that if I don’t get an answer soon, but I’d rather have the service than the money. I just don’t know if this is normal and I should wait, or if this means no one knows what’s going on and I should abandon the plan to use the domain mapping thing. In the meantime, I’d changed the nameservers as instructed and things aren’t working right with the domain I want to use anymore. I’m not trying to make anyone’s life difficult – just trying to make mine easier.

well, it will take a few days for things to propogate around internet DNS servers. also, given that it’s a holiday weekend in the US, it might take longer. personally, i’d wait till monday, but it sounds like you might need help faster than that.

Please remember that the main man (mark) who deals with the support emails is based in the UK. It’s 01:06 am over here and anybody with any sense is in bed at that time.
I am sure that Mark will get back to you as soon as he can. Hang in there!

The domain mapping works beautifully and you can steal 5 credits from my account now – it was only 10.

Whining works, huh? Must remember that with the college coeds around here. :)
Just for reference, the forums here are volenteer driven with staff popping in on occasion or when I forward them a link and give them a polite nudge. :)
We’ve fairly good on getting issues or questions resolved around here though.
