How long should it take for sticky post to appear on static homepage?

  I marked my latest blog post as sticky, but it has not yet appeared on the front page after more than an hour (although I can see the blog post under the blog tab already). Do I need to wait more time to see it appear on the static page, or do I need to correct something? Thanks!

  Howdy ,
  Looked into your site , the featured images are properly getting displayed, the articles below are not correctly showing up, please go to Themes–>Customize—>Static Front Page , there you can manage your front page , if you choose the latest blogs they will be displayed , also you can preview it to confirm, also you have an option to have static pages , Here are the difference between a Page and a Post

  That was my understanding too, but it didn’t take effect for two hours… I’ll see what happens next time!

  Hi @krystyna15!

  There is a bit of a caching delay with Oxygen’s slider, yes. It’s an older theme that uses a different approach to the slider than newer themes :)

  The final post on that thread has a workaround you can use to clear the cache when you update the pots.

  If you’d like to try a newer theme that does not experience this issue, this list is a good starting point:

  I know Sight is similarly effected, but most of the others should be good – feel free to check in here if you want to make sure on any of them in particular!
