How long until I get an email to restore my domain?

  • Unknown's avatar

my domain expired, and for some reason my email kept working for a month (or I would have noticed the website was down sooner). Now, both the website and my email are not working because the domain expired, and I know the path to fix this is to recover the domain. I was told to wait for an email from wordpress support, but which email will they use and how long does this usually take?

    Hi Marisa!

As per public WHOIS record, revelpetals.com is already in redemption period, this means the domain name can still be renewed, but there is an $80.00 redemption fee required in addition to the normal renewal cost.

You can learn more about domain expiration here:

    Domain Expiration

Domain recovery is a time-sensitive process, so you should get a reply very soon on your registered email account associated with this account.

I have tagged the staff and they can help you with the recovery process.

    Hope this helps!!

  • Hi Marisa –

I can confirm that revelpetals.com is in redemption. In order to recover this domain we need the help of our partner. They charge an $80 fee for this service.

Please let me know if you’ll agree to make that payment. The total is going to be $106, which is $26 for the domain renewal and $80 for the redemption. Write back to let me know if you agree.

Once I hear back from you we will get things in motion. First, we will write to our domain partner about the redemption. Next, we will send you an email with a payment form. Normally, it only takes 2-3 days to hear back from our domain partner and we will send you an update once we get news from them.
