How make 'Page' open in a new tab?

  Hi.

  Can anyone tell me how to make a ‘Page’ open in a new tab when someone clicks to view it? Thanks.

  Hi @stefancockroft,

  Within the visual editor, when you use the “Insert/edit link” button, there’s an option in that dialogue box to have the link open in a new tab.

  There’s a walkthrough with accompanying pictures.

  Hi there,

  I would like to add a point here. For pages listed in menu to open in new tab you can follow the steps below:

  – Go to My Sites > Themes > Customise > Menus
  – Select the Menu
  – Select the Page
  – Click on down arrow
  – Check the checkbox ‘Open link in a new tab’
  – Click Save & Publish
