How many accounts do I have?

    I thought WordPress was hosting my website but how do I verify this? I have been told that wordpress is not hosting my website but that Amazon is hosting. I have a wordpress account but not sure what it does. How do I find out if I have more than one account with WordPress?

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

    That said, your host is the company you’re paying for hosting services.
