how many posts are displayed?

    will my page show more that just 100 posts? or will those be hidden after i add more new ones past that 100 or 150 level? thanks

    You can change how many posts are displayed per page using the Blog pages show at most setting under Settings -> Reading :

    thanks geoffrey – and i think i reset it to 1000 but i only see the most recent and i have lost 18 blogs at the beginning – i have them numbered and only #18 is the first one mentioned at the bottom of my page – i am not saying that people should read them but i wanted them all to be available since i have a chronological set …

    hmmm… i will try again – or perhaps i should set up one page with them and then another page with the next 150… hmmm

    Are you using the “Recent Posts Widget” to display these in your sidebar? That number would be set in a different place.

    Can you still see those posts on your Dashboard/from the back end?

    yes i can still see them and yes apparently i am using recent posts – and i found where to edit that but i dont think i can get it to be any number over 200 (?)????

    hmmm – i either want to organize all my 300 plus posts into monthly chapters and have drop down menues for each month – or just have them all listed on the side – but i understand that woudl make the page endless – (not all of them are up yet but i want to get back to posting them in a chronologial order from when i wrote them last year) – so probably a way to list them in month chunks…

    i want to get them all up before i start “advertising” my page – which is not really an advertisement as much as it is a convienient place for me to point people to a specific writing that i did which might touch upon their situation…
