How many TAGs can I use in my blog?

i have write a 3000 words lengthy article, i want to use maximum 6 TAGS, each TAG has 5-6 words. is it right to use TAGs such a way?

just understand that tags are words that may user type while searching for your article.

Tags usually only are a few words long, maximum, so five – six words sounds very long to me.
You can use as many tags as you want in your blog, but per post, the number of combined categories and tags should be no more than about 10 or 12 in order for the post to appear in the Global Tags page.
Tags are there to help your readers to find your posts (and they also are used by search engines looking for keywords); if you think that a reader would intuitively use all five or six words as a tag, go with it, but I think that you would be better off with shorter tags.

Also, if you regularly write lengthy articles and have more than one post visible on your blog page, you may wish to use the “more” tag to help your visitors. It allows you to have only the first part of your post appear on the main blog page, and the reader clicks “continue reading” to go on and read the rest of the article.

No. When we assign categories and/or tags we aim to use no more that 2 – 3 words and 1 word is preferred. See here also > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/tags-29?replies=26
Also note in the case of that lengthy posts you may wish to insert Next Page (Pagination) tags into them as the read more tag only displays an excerpt on the front page of the blog. See here > splitting content > http://support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/
