HOW MANY WORDPRESS BLOG SERVICES EXIST?

How many kinds of wordpress sites exist? I have two wordpress sites at the moment and all are powered by wordpress. Sadly they are very different. My first http://www.techsnup.wordpress.com looks much better in terms of services. The dashboard is fully professional with zillions of features. The weired part about it is “they charge” e.g to edit the look and feel of your site, they require you to pay £30 and theres lots of other charges/upgrades like video press, domains. You cannot upload your own them on it from what ive seen. All they offer is lousy free themes and premium themes as well that you have to pay for ranging from about £45 to £90 each theme! On the other hand, my second wordpress site offers free services and you can upload your own themes BUT sadly it offers less and doesnt have as much features as the other wordpress site i was explaining. It does not have live stats too. WHAT IM ASKING IS whats the difference between these sites? All I want is a non costly professional blog with my own theme. I left blogger for wordpress but its just complicating my life.

Your other is probably a self-hosted WordPress.org blog. The blogging software itself is free, but you’ll have to pay for hosting.
