How may I get a response from the WordPress.com team, about contact forms?

    Hi everybody,

    I have this issue:

    I have inserted a contact form in my wordpress.com that is related with a poll I have published at: albaraffaelli.wordpress.com.

    According to the poll, one question is: “do you want to recieve more information about this theme? If your answer is YES, please fill this contact form”.

    It’s doubtful that, mostly people had answered that they want to recieve information and they hadn’t completed the contact form. So, why don’t I recieve any emails about this?

    Could someone from the Wordress.com team answer me?

    Let me explain the problem in Spanish, my native language.

    Coloqué una Encuesta en mi blog. En una de las preguntas dice: “deseas recibir más información sobre este tema?” y a continuación, coloqué en la página un link que contacta a un formulario de contacto, que obviamente se conecta con mi dirección de correo electrónica.
    Me extraña, que muchas personas hayan clickeado que desean recibir información y a mí no me ha llegado ningún correo solicitándola.

    No logro contactarme directamente con el Equipo de WordPress.com para obtener una respuesta a este problema y solo accedo a foros.

    No me gusta estar omisa con las personas que disponen de tiempo para responder a la Encuesta y esperan recibir las noticias que no les llegan, porque a mí no me llegan (desde WordPress.com) sus emails y como la Encuesta es anónima, no sé quiénes son.

    Soy clara?

    Yo estoy recibiendo únicamente tus respuestas, las cuales me son notificadas vía email.

    Te agradezco, pero no estoy teniendo la solución que necesito y no sé a quién recurrir.

    Si me puedes asesorar en cuanto a quién enviar mi consulta, te estaré agradecida. Te agradezco me puedas responder en Español o más claramente en Inglés.

    English translation:

    I placed a survey on my blog. In one of the questions says: “You want more information about this topic?” and then I put a link on the page to contact a contact form, which obviously connects to my email address.

    I’m surprised that many people have clicked wishing to receive information and I have not gotten me any email requesting it.

    I can not contact directly with the team WordPress.com to get an answer to this problem and only agree to forums.

    I hate being remiss with people who have time to answer the survey and expect to receive the news that does not reach them, because I do not reach me (from WordPress.com) their emails and how the Survey is anonymous, do not know who they are.

    I am getting only your answers, which are notified me via email.

    I thank you, but I’m not having the solution I need and do not know where to turn.

    This thread is tagged for Staff. What’s required is your patience as Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.

    How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.

    Please don’t bump your thread here by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.

    No. I am a Volunteer and this is a peer support forum. I have answered questions here for 9 years.

    I admire your work. I know this is a peer support forum.

    That’s why I’m complaining about the impossibility of having direct contact with the Happiness Engineers.

    If you stop posting into this thread then you will get Staff help more quickly. If you keep posting here it takes longer to get Staff help because you move the timetsamps forward in time when you do that.

    Si deja de publicar en este hilo por lo que recibirá ayuda del personal con mayor rapidez. Si mantiene publicar aquí se tarda más en conseguir personal ayuda porque mueve los timetsamps adelante en el tiempo cuando haces eso.

    You have had a couple of people fill out your form (as you can see in your feedback section linked below) but the process of having people click yes, and then do to a new page to give you contact info is more steps than many people are willing to take.

    I recommend you add a contact form to the page with the poll. That will help you get more names. Here are the instructions on how to add a form to your page

    Thank you Lizt for your response.

    On the one hand, maybe you are right related with that these are more steps than many people are willing to take…. (I’ll remember this tip for the next time!)

    But let me tell you that, except one of them, the people who clicked the option in the Poll’s page, was me (checking if it was correctly working).

    On the other hand, I felt that the option to insert a link to the contact form on the poll’s page was esthetically better.

    And finally, when I go to “feedback” I can only see the poll’s questions, but not the people who sent me anything through the contact form (as I can see in the link you sent me).

    How may I access to this information, as many times as I want?

    When you click on feedback, a sub menu opens under it with three options (polls, ratings, and feedback). If you click the second feedback, you’ll be on the page I linked you to :)
