How may I get rid of "linked blogs"?

    An odd case. I have a 10-year-old blog on wordpress.com: it’s now “symbolic” inasmuch as I’ve installed wordpress on my hosted domain (a different name). I’m renaming my wordpress.com blog. However, it still shows a “linked blog” to the old name (even though during the rename I chose to flush the old name out of wordpress.com). I hope this is clear.

    Example:
    Original: a.wordpress.com
    Paid domain b.com
    Rename a.wordpress.com c.wordpress.com; c.wordpress.com still shows a “linked blog” named “a”

    How to get rid of “linked blog” “a”?
