    Update: The newest version of Seamonkey now shares the Firefox platform, which means it has the Firefox plug-ins. Like a flash downloader for videos!!

    I had never heard of Seamonkey til you mentioned it. Just went looking at it. (Been looking for a browser “suite” since Mozilla.)

    Hey! I ain’t no slouch. I started using a puter: 1991. –Internet: in 1995! (–when most techies were still brown-bagging to grade school, lol) I found Google: when it had only 40,000 websites! –How many can say that? (I wrote them a fan letter; they were so thrilled to hear from somebody: they offered me a T shirt! guess I shudda accepted it, lol)

    Yup:
    -Patches: system set to auto-download up-dates
    -Java updates: dunno
    -Antivirus: avast and another one; and I use maybe The Greatest Best thing on the Internet:
    Spybot S & D –everyone should, luv it.

    Re: Flash …you’ll prolly laugh: speakers aren’t connected, don’t want puter talking at me, so flash, any #, useless; no prob, I won’t down-load 10 –or any other. (Moving pictures make me dizzy, lol) Thanks to both for heads up.

    What??? –“Bugs” –NOT me using IE6? –You use Firefox but WP.com still has bugs??? –I’m STILL going to have bugs in my wedge of WP after switching browsers? That’s pretty important piece of info…. USERS can’t Fix what is on WP’s end…WHEN does WP: remove the bugs?

    Why isn’t staff working on THAT, instead of on shoving in new gizmos & geewhiz Dashboard?

    BTW: I’m not “insisting” on IE6, haven’t had a Reason to change/clueless it WAS a prob. (If you could see: my life has been THE definition of chaos…minor miracle I even voted this week….) Now that I know IE6 is full of holes/my blog’s Main Mess source: I’ll switch out.

    poppy8sd: i meant when wp.com has problems on its side, in which case it won’t be anybody’s browsers problem.

    bugs are normal, i would say. as wp.com continually improves its service, there are bound to be something wrong here and there. what i can say is that wp.com support actually reads our feedback (through contact support) and most of the time replies to our queries too, and i don’t think any other blogging platform offers that kind of service. and wp.com remains largely free too (though that’s because they earn money from ads on our blogs, another story altogether).
