how much do wordpress get paid for each hit made on thier ads on our blogs?

i think i’ve had a good idea
if you don’t want any ads to appear on your blog then you need to delete all your tags!
this is what’s used to marry the ads to your blog
i’m bleeping brilliant
there’s bound to be a catch!
how does this effect WP if we most of us turn off our auto PRP’s? [possibly related posts] -
Thanks jamesewelch,
I turned off my snapshots going to design – Extras. It was a real problem for me. I hope it works properly now.
-
Oooh, helene, that might just be the key; only it’s got to be tags AND categories, since that’s what I use (categories, no tags). Clever!

@baba1342
is that a shot of the left and right cranial lobes of a brain – birds eye view?
these avatars are just too small to work out what the images are most of the time
like the coloursthe idea about deleting all tags and cats. – it’s beginners luck!
as i spend most of my time utterly bewildered at the machinations of blogging
it’s an enigma wrapped up in a a a…. conundrum [?] who said this?
and i think raincoaster is pulling my preverbial leg!@raincoaster
what would a blog look like with out any tags and categories i wonder?!
i’m not prepared to try it!i thought cats. were just for the internal organisation of our posts
why did you opt for cats. only?because i don’t understand them i just go mad with them both
and
in case anyone sees this
in stats – Referrers- i have seen
“wordpress dashboard”
with no link/url
any ideas what this is? -
And today for the first time I learned that apparently those incredibly annoying Snapshots that so many of us have disabled on our blogs also has “Share This” social bookmarking enabled as a part of the Snapshot!
If you click on the “Share This” link on the Snapshot you get the standard set of addthis links to various social bookmarking sites, but there’s no link to your blog post, only what you’ve linked to. o_O
(yes, shamelessly plugging one of my photoblogs)
-
@heleneodette: “wordpress dashboard” with no link/url any ideas what this is?
If you click on a link to another WordPress.com blog from within your dashboard (e.g. from the What’s Hot section of the main dashboard tab, or from comment moderation), that’s what the blog owner will see in their stats.

@helen: “a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma” is a quote from Winston Churchill re Russia. Were he alive today, I am sure that Churchill would have a blog.

@helen: thank you!
I think that Winston would call his blog “V for Victory” and grab the domain vforvictory.net (.com and .org are taken)
