How much important are tags for a post?

    i wanna make a question, how much important are tags for a post? i mean i have a limit for my tags? i usually add tags up to thirty for a post and must be CAP LETTERS or small letters? or in both ways we are ok?
    Ex: if i make 20 tags for a post and 10 tags are with CAP LETTERS and the other 10 are with small letters, this is a problem or not? OR i have to make them ALL CAP LETTERS/small letters?
