How much longer for new official Widgets?

  I am not complaining because WordPress is 1,000+ times better than Blogger but it seems lately the official Widgets list is kind of stale. Any idea when new widgets will be released? I like the Blogs recently visited widget which shows readers which blog on my links I just went to.

  Any ideas?

  Yea, I’d be also interested in that. I especially don’t like (nevertheless WordPress is great) that you cannot add images in sidebars.

  I have images in my sidebar. You have to use a Text Widget and use HTML.
  I think that’s what you mean, right?
