How much money can you make from ads?

  Once I get my site up and running and getting enough hits, I would like to put ads on my page through wordpress. What is the typical profit amount from these ads?

  If you require advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
