How much storage space do I get for free?

  A. How much storage space do I get for free?
  B. Do I get the size of storage specified for each blog, or in total?
  Let us assume I get/have 5GB for free and already have a blog using 3 GB,
  B1. if I start another blog, do I still have 2 GB left fro the first blog, and then another 5GB for the second blog?
  Or
  B2. Do I have 5GB in total, and when the sum of the two blogs becomes more than 5GB the storage is full?

  B1: Yes.
  B2: No.

  What takes up the storage space? Does just making a blog post take up that space or only when you post pictures and such? Also if you purchase your own domain do you get unlimited storage space?

  purchasing a custom domain name does not change allowed – if you need more space you need to buy the $99.-/yr upgrade
