How: Music that continues throughout a slideshow

I have the “Monotone” theme for photographs. Mine are not about fine art; they are of the members of a group of us, very informal and unplanned. (Definitely not fine art!)
I would like to have music playing THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SLIDESHOW. Is this possible? I have a Title Page and am thinking maybe if I make a link on this page and route it to an MP3 in my Media page it can be done. But… it might be totally impossible. I have no idea. Can someone either tell me that it cannot be done, or point me to a URL that shows how it is done?
I already went to the WordPress FAQ for putting music in my blog, but as you can see, this is slightly more complex since it would continue throughout the viewing of many “posts/photos.“

What are you using for a slideshow? Do you mean you want music to play while people are on your blog looking at Next Post, Next Post, Next Post? It cannot be done here.
If you want to MAKE a slideshow and put it in a post, I believe some services will let you add audio, but am not sure which. Last resort: upload the slideshow to YouTube and you can have sound as well.

Raincoaster (that brings up such a mental image!…) I do not know how to upload a slideshow to Youtube, so I guess that for the time being I am out of luck. Thank you. I will work on learning. I have an iMac, by the way.

Dear Raincoaster, I saw your video of Toby and Sheila and cried. I looked all over your site a message option but found none so I have to write here. I apologize to everyone for not using this space for WordPress info but that video touched my heart bigtime. (Even though Sheila’s beak fell off.)

Actually, what you’re asking for here is not possible on any system. Once you click to a new blog page, even sites that have autoplay music just restart the music again from the beginning. It’s a pain in the butt.

Yes, but a labrador is smart enough to say “well, gee, Sheila’s dead and I didn’t get an invitation to the wake”. I think that Beagle STILL doesn’t know what’s going on.
