my blog is protected so my friends have to create an account if they wanna read, they have huge problems doing this and I can not help them what they should do when signing in as I am already always signed in from my computer, are there some requirements for the login and password etc. or what information they have to put in when signing in?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All your friends need to create an account is to pick a name that has not been used and a legal email address, WordPress.COM sends an email to the email address to confirm the address is legal and that the person does in fact want an account. There is a link in the email they need to click on to activate the account

They do not need to get a blog, a blog however is reserved with the same name as their account

so they login is a valid email account including the @? and they need a password, i think they did not understand that the login is an email address, they said it does not take anything to the first line…sorry ;) we are not computer engineers ;) , thank a lot!!!!!

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to p[rovide an email address and click to register just an username account
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

Follow these directions if you have a private blog that you want to share with users of your choice, without giving them any editing access to your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-view-your-private-blog

They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.

Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.

I never use the email log-in method – I always log in as “auxclass” with my password – my email was only needed when I set up the account

I use the email login on one blog and username login on the other.
