how not to be googled?

    Hi all,

    I chose the option under privacy that i didnt want to be able to be searched by others using any search engines, however, from my blog stats and referring links, i could see that people could easily reach by wordpress site by just searching the google with simple keywords.

    so what am i supposed to do now? any help will be appreciated. thanks

    Thsi sis the best that can be done from the wordpress.com end of things http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/08/04/private-blogs/
    Also if you use the FAQs blog and the forum search box you will find out how to password protect your posts.

    It takes anywhere from a few days to months for Google and other search engines to drop your from their databases. You can try contacting them to get your site removed.

    I would also modify ‘Your Profile’ here in the forums as well as within your blog and remove the URL to your blog or change it to something else. All you are doing is providing links with it there.
